One family, since 1931.
From Lebanon to the living rooms of the Midwest
I learned this trade the only way that matters — at the side of the family who came before me, who arrived from Lebanon and carried hand-knotted rugs door to door across the Midwest, a rug over each shoulder. Since 1931, that eye they handed down has lived at one address in Cedar Rapids.
Every rug on this floor, I picked myself — no distributors, no catalogs, no algorithm guessing what you’ll like. Just a lifetime of knowing what’s worth bringing home to you.

Bring me a rug that’s been walked on for decades. I’ll wash it and mend the fringe, edges, and moth damage the way hand-knotted wool needs.

A photo only tells you so much — feel the wool, watch how the color shifts when the afternoon light hits it. We’re at 1239 1st Avenue SE, the coffee’s usually on, and if you’re far away, call me and we’ll figure it out from there.
